This here space will now reside the abode of the gonzobrarian, a virtual space for the ruminations of a newly-hired librarian dealing with technology issues such as library systems, digital libraries, metadata, tagging and perhaps even gaming. It’s just a place to record my thoughts and hopefully collaborate with others who find the terrifying prospect of professional librarianship necessary and, dare I say, appealing.
There’s going to be some upcoming design and navigation changes, but I doubt few will even be aware as this venture is but a seedling of what will hopefully grow into a massive ball of digital paranoia, or for those quick to catch the references, “fear and loathing”. Join me, won’t you?
